Jay Scanlan and his beloved DB5

Jay Scanlan is the owner of a Facility Management company, and lives by the south coast in Brighton and Hove with his wife and daughter. He currently drives a Range Rover but has recently invested in a restored DB5 from the Aston Workshop.

Dr. Ellis and the story of AUF77
     
 

The Aston Workshop has presented Dr. D S Ellis with a copy of the Peking-Paris commemorative book in recognition for his contribution and continued interest in the ongoing story of Lagonda AUF 77.

AUF77 was the car that Aston Workshop owner, Bob Fountain, restored to compete in the Peking-Paris endurance race earlier this year.

The Aston Workshop is now stocking a range of books which make the perfect gift for Aston Martin fans this Christmas.

The Aston Martin Ultimate Portfolio collection of books each deal with a specific period in time and chart the success and developments during that time for Aston Martin. Each book is priced at £19.95 and contains a collection of magazine reviews on Aston Martin cars throughout the years.

Bob Fountain will be in Buenos Aires, Argentina between 17 and 20 November and again from 25 to 30 November to meet potential clients to discuss Aston Martin purchase and restoration.

Question:

I find the steering on my Aston Martin is heavy, particularly at low speeds but do not want to spoil the feel of the car. What are my options?

Sarah Brown's Mini Austin

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Colin Brown works at the Aston Workshop and has recently won a series of awards for the restoration he has carried out on his 1961 Mini Austin 7 at the Aston Workshop in his daughter’s memory.

“We obtained the 850cc Mini Austin in Speedwell Blue in July 2005 from my uncle in Norwich as a 21st birthday present for Sarah. She was working with me at the Aston Workshop as an apprentice car spray painter and had always loved helping me with the car at home.  The mini was in need of restoration and the idea was for the two of us to spend some time fixing the car up for Sarah to use.
