We are all very excited about the launch of our new "Aston Enhancements" website. The site provides an interactive and illustrated guide to the many modifications Aston Workshop can offer the owners of classic Aston Martins.

As a company, we are constantly looking for ways to improve the safety, performance and comfort of these beautiful cars without compromising the integrity of the Aston Martin name.

This new site outlines most of the upgrades available today, with new developments to be added as they are introduced.

Aston Workshop have always prided ourselves on being at the forefront of online services for classic Aston Martin. To further enhance our sales site and online experience we are introducing short video clips of the cars we have for sale.

As our potential buyers come from all corners of the globe, this gives them the opportunity to see the car in motion without having to travel thousands of miles to do so. The videos complement the already fantastic photographs, making the total package outstanding.

Aston Workshop gears up for Crash Repairs

Priced at £1 million each, the Aston Martin One-77 is an extremely special edition super car limited to only 77 units, all of them already sold to lucky owners who will be getting a 6.0 Litre V12 that makes 700 HP.

The One-77 is capable of accelerating from 0 to 60 in under 3.5 seconds and has a top speed in excess of 200 MPH. In fact, the One-77 became the fastest Aston Martin ever when it reached 220.007 MPH.

British Classic Car Meeting
The 19th edition of the British Classic Car Meeting took place from the 13th - 15th July and saw some of the finest British cars going head-to-head, with approximately 200 cars taking part. The sheer volume of British classics - 68 Jaguars, 39 Rolls-Royces, 31 Bentleys, 24 Austin-Healeys and 23 Aston Martins to be precise - created an imposing sight in front of Badrutt’s Palace Hotel, the starting point of Saturday’s rally. What is your job role at Aston Workshop?

My job is working as part of a team in the restoration department. This entails building a car starting with a prepared and painted body shell, assembling brakes, suspension, axle and engine and gearbox assemblies etc.

Have you always done this?

No, but I have been in the motor trade for over 40 years (30 of which I was a partner in a garage repair business in Gosforth, Newcastle upon Tyne.) This has given me invaluable experience in many facets of the trade, which helps when building these motorcars.

Do you have an 'expert' tip for our customers?

Yes. Always buy the best you can afford. If you are going for a full restoration then consider going for the best and highest specification that you can. It is cheaper in the long run to do the work whilst the car is in fully stripped condition and will surely repay you in the future as these cars are generally an excellent investment. Quality always lasts whereas price is soon forgotten.
