DB2/4 Smashes Auction Records 17 September 2010

THE RAMPAGING values of Aston Martin DBs took another step towards the stratosphere when David Browns former car in barn find condition sold for an incredible 206,000 at Barons Auctions.

The lost 1958 Aston Martin DB2/4 MkIII drophead, originally the property of former Aston Martin owner Brown, spent the past 30 years hidden beneath a tarpaulin. Barons pitched the cars estimate at 80,000-100,000, which in normal circumstances could have been considered slightly ambitious...
