This lovely example of the DB2/4 MKII is presented in stunning Sea Green metallic, making it a true eye-catcher. The car has been the subject of a sympathetic restoration including full paint, engine overhaul and new wheels & tyres etc. and is fitted with the rare L1 head and very rare S3 sump. As can be seen from the photographs, the exception to the general condition is the interior, which is in need of full refurbishment. This can be negotiated as part of the sale and completed by our world renowned restorers here at Aston Workshop. Driving well on the open road, this is a strong, robust and very presentable DB2/4 MKII with an extensive history file. Just 199 examples of the DB2/4 MKII were made, making this a most rare and sought after model from the classic Aston Martin range. At first glance similar to its predecessor, this model came with many detail changes, the roof line was raised, which was highlighted by a chrome strip, the side panels of the bonnet remain fixed and it had two mini tail fins housing new tail lights. Just 199 examples of the DB2/4 MKII were made, making this a most rare and sought after model from the classic Aston Martin range. ----------------------------------------------
