This car is fine example of a late LHD V8 Volante automatic, which has the benefit of being fuel injected. It has a low authenticated mileage of just over 21,000 miles. The fuel injected Aston Martin V8 was announced as the final development of a line of V8 Aston Martins, spanning over 27 years. It was superseded with the launch of the Aston Martin Virage in 1995, with both the V8 and Virage remaining in production until the final V8 was delivered in 1998. The fuel injected engine was launched in 1995, offering reliable and smooth power delivery, with improved fuel efficiency. Commensurate with the introduction of fuel injection came a minor change to the bonnet profile with a much slimmer less prominent power bulge, making the line look decidedly more elegant and rather less aggressive. The example we have for sale has an excellent history with a record of regular maintenance. One of very few V8 Volantes in LHD drive configuration, it has had the benefit of a major refit and overhaul in 1997, carried out by RS Williams with invoices of £29,000 pounds of expenditure, both on an mechanical overhaul and upgrade. RS Williams is one of the most respected of Aston Martin specialists. Since when this work was carried out, very little mileage has been added. Painted Suffolk Red, it comes with flawless paint, light tan leather, beige carpets and unmarked tan hood. It comes with a full health check report and will be fully serviced and tested before delivery. Being an original LHD, it must surely be an example to treasure and keep for the long term.
