Further Information
An automotive representation of the style and elegance of the 1950s, this absolutely delightful Aston Martin is not only extremely evocative in it's original colour scheme of Bayard Red with matching Devon Stone interior, but it is also a very rare car indeed. The fact that only seven of these DB2/4 MKII "notchback" FHC coupes were made by Aston would be enough to separate this car from the crowd, but what really sets this particular car apart is that it was the original Aston Martin works demonstrator. A true piece of automotive history! Subject to a full restoration, the car has been 'rested' in recent years as part of a prominent private collection from which it has only recently been released for sale. In very good all-round condition, it comes complete with an extensive history file including restoration photographs, MOT certificates, Owner correspondence and bills etc. We anticipate a great deal of interest in this exceptionally rare Aston, so early inspection is highly recommended to avoid disappointment.
