Further Information
This Alvis TE21 Drophead Coupe with Park Ward Coachwork, was supplied new by Brooklands of Bond Street 29th July 1964, finished in Metallic Beige with full beige leather upholstery.
Of the ninety-five TE21 Drophead Coupes built, records show that eighty-eight remain and this car is a stunning and rare low mileage example, having covered less than 53,000 miles since new.
The leather upholstery has a lovely patina and is original, the carpets and hood have been replaced and the external bodywork has had a high quality repaint which was totally refreshed in 2009. The car has been meticulously maintained by one of the longest established Alvis specialists in the country and kept to a very high standard, with a comprehensive documented history file complete with invoices and images.
Only 3 former owners, the second owner is reputed to be a film star who kept the car for 30 years, taking it to America at some point in his ownership, returning the car to the UK in the 1990s.
This is a rare chance to purchase a very fine example of an original specification low mileage TE21 Drophead Coupe in beautiful condition.
