This lovely DB5 has been the pride and joy of just one family for the past 35 years! A very original example presented in the rare but evocative colour combination of Dark Green with matching 'Medium Tan' interior. It benefits from fully refurbished chassis and sills as well as being fitted with the more desirable 5 speed manual transmission. The underside of this car is in very good order and it comes with upgraded 'fast road' suspension featuring telescopic rear dampers! An engine re-build by Aston Dorset in 1998 is documented along with a new fuel pump in 2008. The carbs where also overhauled and a new alternator, ignition and battery were fitted in 2010-2011. Featuring a level of patination, just as you would expect to find in such a cherished and well used Aston, the experience of getting behind the wheel is akin to that of a stepping into a time machine, instantly transporting you to an era of greater sophistication and style. This DB5 really does embody everything that Aston Martin stood for at the time of manufacture. Complete with a fascinating history folder including MOT certificates, invoices, owner correspondence etc. this fine car is ready to be driven away and enjoyed by its next custodian.
