Further Information
Aston Workshop are delighted to present for sale this 1969 Aston Martin DBS, which we believe to be an ideal project for anyone hoping to build their dream Aston Martin. The car has undergone extensive chassis repairs at Aston Workshop as well as a full respray in the popular shade of Cumberland Grey.
Originally Burnt Almond with White Gold leather, the car was originally sold through H.R.Owen as an Automatic with Power Steering and a Motorola Radio. During its lifetime the car was exported to the USA, before being brought back to the UK by Aston Workshop. A thorough overhaul of the chassis included extensive repairs to ensure the car was ready for decades of driving to come, and a respray was carried out in our world-renowned body shop.
The DBS featured in the only James Bond film starring George Lazenby as the international superspy, ‘On Her Majesty’s Secret Service’, elevating it to the level of fame reserved for Bond vehicles only. This car has a unique connection to that film, with George Lazenby’s signature appearing in the glove box.
Interest in the DBS has been rising steadily amongst Aston Martin collectors for some time now, and this car represents a fantastic opportunity to build someone’s dream Aston. Sold “as-is”, we can also advise on the steps required to finish the car or offer our services in building a beautiful DBS including:
- Manual Conversion
- Engine Upgrades
- Handling Upgrades
- Interior Retrim
