The V8 Vantage was Aston Martin's highest-selling model they had ever produced, with a 420bhp 4.7 V8 engine propelling the car past 60mph in 4.7 seconds on the way to a top speed in excess of 180mph. A 6-speed manual transmission ensured the V8 Vantage was the true 'driver's car' in the Aston Martin line-up, with the 'Baby Aston' excelling both on the road and on the race track.
