Aston Workshop are delighted to bring to market this unique Aston Martin V8 with a fantastic history. Built in September 1977 for distribution by Aston Martin (Sales) themselves, this car initially wore a specification of Storm Red over a Magnolia Leather interior. The car was well optioned from the factory, with a Weber automatic transmission, overriders, detachable headrests, lockable centre armrest, rearguard fog lamps, side marker lights, rear mud flaps and a manual control aerial switch. 

In the early 1980s the car came under the care of Mr Swift and Mr Whitmore, Tipton, Staffordshire. Invoices from this period show regular and sympathetic servicing work on the car leading up to a major inspection and recommissioning in 1987 at Aston Martin (Works) in Newport Pagnell. Correspondence found in the cars history file details the work completed in 1988 to give the car a special Vantage-inspired new body style, also completed by Aston Martin at Newport Pagnell. New flared arches, widened side-skirts and front and rear spoilers were fitted as well as auxiliary driving lights and a Vantage grill-blank; this work was completed alongside a colour change to Kent Green and fitment of new BBS alloy wheels.

The current owner took ownership of the car in 2004, with invoices showing regular care was undertaken by marque specialists RS Williams since then. Again, no expense has been spared in keeping the mechanical condition of the car in the best possible state. The MOT history of the car shows a long record of passes with only 800 miles a year covered on average since 2005.
