National Classic Car Day at Aston Workshop and Beamish Morgan

Did you drive your classic car to work on Friday 4th April?

National Classic Car Day is the latest charity event which was proposed by Radio 2 presenter, Chris Evans. Launched on a whim during his breakfast radio show on 24 March 2014, the idea is that anyone who owns a classic car should fire it up for the commute to work, offering friends and colleagues a lift into the bargain as long as they make a donation to the BBC Children in Need charity.

We thought it would be a good idea to support the campaign by offering those who are retired (or simply don't have a workplace) a 'destination'.

Wed like to thank everyone that came to the workshop in their classic car and made a donation, it was a fantastic day for such a worthy cause and we look forward to next year!
