DB4
SoldFurther Information
This car really is something very special indeed.
Owned by only two families from new, it must be one of the lowest mileage DB4s available anywhere in the world today. (mileage is genuine & verified)
In beautiful Caribbean Pearl & Navy hide with blue carpets, the car looks absolutely stunning. It is original in every way and completely outstanding throughout. If you are looking for an original Aston Martin, then you simply wont find a better example.
The car was delivered to the original owner on 10th April 1961, and transferred to the second family in 1992. MOT certificates show that it covered 34,472 miles between 1961 and 1977 and then a remarkable 11,545 miles from 77 until the present day.
It is fitted with the original Motorola radio, fog lamps and rear de-mister, all extras when new, and listed on the original delivery note, a photocopy of which is included in the history file.
Apart from a recent £11,000, clutch, , spend at Aston workshop to bring the car up to driving spec (handling kit and brake overhaul) bills have been kept since 92 mostly from Aston Service in Dorset.
There are also some fascinating admission and parking tickets from the sixties that give a real insight into the early life of the car, plus old tax discs, and MOT certificates. There is even the original Motorola Radio users guide and guarantee certificate.
How nice it is to find such a beautiful, un-molested and original Aston Martin, this represents a rare opportunity for the serious collector or for anyone wanting a classic Aston Martin of exceptional quality.
