Matching numbers, top condition, original LHD Aston Martin DB5 with factory air-con.
This beautiful DB5 was delivered on December 7, 1965 to Mr. Edwin V Perdue of Louisberg, Kansas.  It was originally ordered in California Sage with Beige interior.
 

In 1970 it moved to it's new owner's home city of Denver, Colorado, then on to Dallas, Texas in 1988.

Since then, this iconic DB5 has been owned and cared for by the same proud owner, a well known classic car collector, Aston Martin enthusiast & AMOC member. Complete with its original matching engine, it has received extensive restoration work (both mechanical and cosmetic) by well known independent, Aston Martin specialists regardless of cost.

Recent and previous work includes;

Bare metal repaint in original colours
Full interior re-trim
Engine rebuild and extensive serving
Lots of other major and valuable work including suspension, brakes etc etc
As a result this highly original Aston is in top order throughout.

This is a rare opportunity to acquire a proper original LHD Aston Martin DB5, with factory air conditioning, ZF 5 speed and service record.

Over the course of nearly three decades, the owner has stood proudly beside this DB5 at many AMOC events, classic car events and Concours d’ Elegance from coast to coast.

It was first shown in August of 1989 at the AMOC Monterey Festival.  Other Concours d’ Elegance include the Cincinnati, Adult Park, Texas, Lime Rock, and Santa Fe. Other notable events include the AMS Dixie Challenge, Atlanta GA, Chicago Historic Races, Pittsburg Grand Prix, and the 1997 Great NW Tour, which ended in Monterey.

A truly stunning DB5, It shined at all of the above events as can be seen from the photographs.
