PDF DetailsAston Workshop are delighted to present for sale this 1969 Aston Martin DBS upgraded to Vantage manual specification. The car recently arrived at Aston Workshop, and has undergone an extensive period of recommissioning and road testing.
Originally Black with Black leather, the car was originally sold as a Borg Warner Automatic with Power Steering, Fiamm Horns, and a Radiomobile Radio. The conversion to manual utilised an original, and very rare, ZF 5-speed gearbox. As shown in the pictures, the car was at some point fitted with a Webasto roof and an exceptionally rare Vinyl roof in the American style. The interior is present in full and features a fantastic patina that really suits the character of the car. We are able to offer a number of options for the purchase of this car including:
- Option 1. Sold as-is, as a running and driving car in need of some chassis work that could be completed by an experienced home mechanic. Price: £49,950
- Option 2. We can carry out the chassis work in-house to exacting standards exceeding the quality of the original Aston Martin factory. Price: £59,950
- Option 3. The above chassis work will be carried out, as well as a full bare-metal respray in the colour of your choice. Price: £99,950
The DBS featured in the only James Bond film starring George Lazenby as the international superspy, ‘On Her Majesty’s Secret Service’, elevating it to the level of fame reserved for Bond vehicles only.
