To quote from the original brochure for this model, “The V8 Volante is a unique combination of sports car performance and handling, limousine luxury and the sort of open air motoring that has excited and thrilled motorists for decades” That quote sums up exactly what this car is all about, and it’s just as relevant today as it was it was when first written 40 years ago. Dropping the hood and getting out onto the open road in such a wonderful, hand-assembled and lovingly crafted car has to be experienced to be fully appreciated. This particular car is finished in classic ‘Autumn Gold Superlustre’, and complemented with a newly refurbished magnolia interior piped in brown, Havana brown carpets and matching hood. As can be seen from the wonderful photographs, the result is a car of great style and presence. Here at the Aston Workshop we have completed a high quality, full re-spray and refurbished the interior (including all wood cappings requiring attention). Supplied new to our local Aston Martin dealership in August 1985, this '1986 model year’ car has spent many years in a private collection in Belgium before being repatriated to become part of our proprietor’s personal collection for the last 3 years. These Aston Martin models from the 70’s & 80’s are becoming more and more fashionable and ever more desirable as time goes by, and are seen as an exciting option for both collector or enthusiast.
