Further Information
We are delighted to offer this 1965 Morris Mini Cooper S finished in Almond green and Old English white roof matched with a Porcelain green and grey interior. Delivered on 14 October 1965 to J Cockshoot & Co Ltd of Kidderminster and supplied to its first owner until change of ownership in 1984. From there we hold records of the Cooper S’ MOT history which would suggest that the present mileage of 70,790 is genuine.
HWP950C is a very original and desirable 1275cc model originally built for homologation purposes by Cooper for circuit racing along with the 970cc model and featured larger disc brakes to cope with the more powerful 76 bhp engine.
With a British motor industry heritage certificate to prove this Mini’s originality, we can confirm this is a matching numbers chassis and engine with original colour combination and features, including original Dunlop steel wheels and period correct Dunlop tyres. A fresh air heater fitted by the factory can still be found in the cabin and optional larger oil cooler.
