Engine Rebuilds & Unleaded Conversions
Whether you are requiring a complete engine rebuild, or just a top-end overhaul, we can provide all the services that you will ever need. We can rebuild engines to 3.7 litre, 4 litre, 4.2 litre or even 4.6 litre, to standard or to Vantage specification. We can also rebuild the earlier 2.6 and 3 litre engines, as well as the later V8 units.
With current thinking promoting more environmental awareness, our unleaded engine conversions allow the Aston Martin owner to reduce engine emissions. Furthermore, with some countries passing new legislation banning leaded fuel, the unleaded conversion will allow owners to continue to use their cars through-out the world.
All engines can be fully tested on our SF901 Dynamometer.
SF901 Engine Dynamometer
We use our engine Dyno as an evaluation tool to measure power characteristics of your engine. It will tell us not only how much power, but where the power is in the speed range.
For performing research and development, you can evaluate modifications one-at-a-time, or as a complete system. For race engines, you can ensure that the engine is right before it runs on race day. Develop on the Dyno, race at the track.
Whatever the engines purpose, we can use the Dyno to perform a quality audit, to ensure that the engine does what its intended to do, before its too late. Quantify the results of any modifications to prove that we have built the engine we meant to build.
Suspension and Brake Rebuilds and Upgrades
The overhaul of the cars suspension and steering includes sand blasting and bead blasting of all components and refinishing in Bondaprimer and 2K black enamel. Careful inspection is made of all moving / wearing components, and all bushings etc. are renewed throughout. The rear shock absorbers are fully overhauled. In addition to the standard suspension work, we can also fit our own Monte Carlo Handling Kit and new Koni front shock absorbers.
The entire breaking system is stripped, bead blasted, and re-enameled and rebuilt using new stainless steel pistons throughout. New servos and master cylinder fitted. All pipe work renewed with cupro-nickel and brass fittings throughout. In addition to the standard breaking system, we can also fit our own Le Mans Brake Booster Kit.
Trimwork
We offer a variety of trimming services for most models, and we use only the best quality Connolly leather and Wilton carpets. We can repair or re-trim the entire interior, to your specification. New headlinings are fitted where required.
If your drivers seat is starting to sag just a little too much, we will ensure all seat stuffings are renewed/adjusted as required to give the original shape to the seats.
If you are tired of the stale smell of your old boot carpets, why not have the entire set renewed. Or how about changing the carpets to the interior?
Chromework
We can provide that concourse-quality finish to your exterior and interior chrome-work.
Furthermore, we can repair such items as damaged bumpers to as new condition. By employing craftsmen who utilise often-forgotten qualities such as patience and skill, we ensure the utmost quality at all times.
